Description

Mindfulness mentoring is for individuals who have completed an 8 week mindfulness course and wish to deepen their practice. It offers you the opportunity to have one-to-one mindfulness sessions tailored to your needs with a trained, experienced mindfulness teacher.

Mindfulness mentoring sessions can be particularly useful if you are preparing for teacher training or looking to freshen up your mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness mentoring starts with an initial 30 minute session, in which we can clarify if this mentoring will meet your current needs.

Typical sessions last an hour, starting with a practice and discussion of the practice for at least 30 minutes. The rest of the time is used to consider any actions to support your ongoing mindfulness practice.

For example some participants want more time to consolidate practice after attending an 8 week course, some want to find ways to integrate practice more fully with their lives, some may wish to explore particular aspects of practice, such as pleasant or unpleasant experiences. The choice is yours!

About the teacher

Sarah Pace

Hello! I have 15 years experience in delivering evidence-based psychotherapies in various NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services around the UK. This led to my interest in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as a relapse prevention tool for recurrent clinical depression.
